With over a decade of graphic design experience and degrees in communication and public policy, Erika specializes in helping nonprofit, government, and arts organizations communicate their mission and vision through design. Clients include the USDA, the International City/County Management Association, the University of Maryland, and Playbill, as well as individuals and small organizations. She has a background in writing, editing, design, and project management, and is skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (print, digital, and video), Final Cut X, QuarkXPress, MS Office, and HTML. Other expertise includes:
Concepting and designing multimedia campaigns based on internal strategy and market data;
Translating client needs into a cohesive and impactful design across media;
Developing brand standards and maintaining consistent messaging across products and media platforms;
Hiring and art directing designers;
Procuring/managing vendors and strategic partners;
Setting timelines, budgets, and managing complex projects;
Developing and working with a Creative Services project management interface; and
Writing, copy editing, and proofreading.
